The Dolphin Hotel event. The Dolphin is an old coaching inn with history from 1735. In the summer of 1806, the poet, Lord Byron, stayed at the Dolphin Hotel, with almost drowned as he swam in the nearby River Arun. The Dolphin exhibits ghostly manifestations. these include several different women, with some ghostly children, who have , witnesses see and hear, , dressed in Victorian style clothing. Reports believe it to be haunted by Byron himself, as he stayed here on numerous several occasions
